cbd spray for weight lossDecember 15, 2021
This product is marketed as a weight loss support supplement. All Natural Way’s mission is to deliver products to its customers that are CBD-based, natural alternatives to chemical-based drugs.
This is a fair potency for its intended purpose as weight loss support supplement — you can easily double the dose if needed and still remain within a safe range of garcinia and CBD with little to no side-effects.
Based in Florida, All Natural Way was established in 2014 by entrepreneurs Lee Lefkowitz and German Espitia. The company set out to create natural health remedies for ailments people typically turn to addictive pharmaceutical drugs to solve — these formulas star CBD, from Colombian-grown organic hemp crops for its optimal climate.
On top of this, it claims to collaborate with the Universidad De Equina De Colombia for medical cannabis research — but we couldn’t find any University that exists with that name.
The All Natural Way Weight Loss CBD Spray was created to be a safe and natural weight loss supplement using garcinia cambogia to help decrease appetite and increase metabolism. This spray comes in one size and potency variation of 30 mL and 500 mg and costs $69.99.
This means the spray isn’t as thick, and it’s easy enough to direct underneath the tongue where there’s a thin mucous membrane protecting a network of capillaries. Sublingual applications allow the active compounds to enter the bloodstream much faster than absorption through the digestive tract.
Garcinia cambogia is a tropical fruit popular in natural diet supplements —but it has a bit of a controversial reputation. While some people swear by its highly effective weight loss benefits, it may not be as effective as people and companies claim.
With 500 mg of CBD per standard 30 mL bottle, we consider this a medium potency. All Natural Way advises six sprays under the tongue will deliver 1 mL of product with 16.7 mL CBD and 250 mg of garcinia cambogia.
For those who don’t like the taste of CBD oils in droppers, a spray formula may be a great alternative. As opposed to an oil-based formula, like many tinctures on the market, this formula is water-based (while still containing MCT coconut oil).
Hemp Source 1/5.
While the Weight Loss CBD Spray is only available in one size and potency (30 mL, 500 mg), this formula is part of All Natural Way’s collection of five sprays, each addressing different health concerns.
The best way to reap the benefits of natural health supplements is with daily use. To make sure you’re getting the daily recommended dose, you want to make the application as simple and frictionless as possible.
Overall, we’re reluctant to trust All Natural Way and its products because of the company’s hemp sourcing ambiguity and habit of stretching the health benefits of its products.
Sounds nice, but we couldn’t find any other information about its hemp source, including any organic certifications or third-party lab results that test for quality — pesticide, heavy metal, solvent, or microbe contamination. Testing is a crucial part of what you’re paying for with high-quality CBD brands, and it doesn’t seem like All Natural Way puts much of a priority on this.
Key Features & Benefits.
Before we dive into all the details in this review, let’s finish the overview with some pros and cons and highlight some of the Weight Loss CBD Spray’s selling features.
Studies show marginal differences in weight loss between the placebo group and those on garcinia Cambogia supplements — and many studies found no difference at all.
We’ll break down the effectiveness of this product in helping you manage your weight naturally.
We’ll get into more of this in more detail in the Formula section of this article. But it’s an interesting addition to a weight-loss CBD spray.
According to the website, All Natural Way employs a team of scientists and geneticists to oversee the farms.
CBD oil is garnering a lot of attention—and media headlines—these days. It's not surprising: the list of potential benefits is long. People are mostly using CBD to help with chronic pain, arthritis or joint pain and anxiety, according to recent research.
Here’s what the research actually says about CBD and weight loss.
Turns out, large studies that have looked at the body weights of cannabis users have found them to be leaner than non-cannabis users. And this, interestingly, is despite the fact that cannabis users typically take in more calories than nonusers.
There’s promising, positive research about CBD and weight loss.
Until recently, it's more likely that you associate CBD with cannabis and, thus, with an increased appetite (aka "the munchies"). Your hunch isn't wrong—and, no, we're not talking about your first-person college "experiments." Cannabis and cannabis-based medicines have long been prescribed to patients with HIV and cancer to boost their appetite and encourage weight gain. But here's the thing: according to clinical trials, those products don't seem to actually help those patients gain weight.
While we don't know how commonly CBD oil is used for weight loss, we do know it's a topic people are talking about—there are millions of results on Google —and also one that researchers are studying.
So, what does the science say about CBD for weight loss? We dug in.
While CBD comes from the cannabis plant, it lacks THC (the psychoactive compound in cannabis that can get you high). And one study in the Netherlands that gave people different strains of cannabis found that the folks who got the strain highest in CBD had their appetite increase the least, compared to their counterparts who had the THC-only strain.
